MINDFUL FLOW + PHILOSOPHY

The term philosophy is derived from two Greek words: philo (love) and Sphia (wisdom), literally “love of wisdom.” In this class, we will infuse the sacred ancient teachings of yoga (meaning to yoke, or “to meld, unite several parts of oneself”) philosophy in our vinyāsa flow. The practice include intention setting, breath awareness, standing and seated postures, and meditation. Each week, we will bring consciousness to philosophical subjects derived from the yoga texts., assisting us in the practice of svādhyāya (self-study). This class is accessible to all.
