Sarah found yoga in college and immediately fell in love with the practice. After her first class, she knew she wanted to dive deeper with her studies, and eventually step into the role of a teacher. In 2014 Sarah participated in her 200hr teacher training at Seva Yoga in Grand Rapids Michigan. During her training, she was asked to join the Seva team and has been teaching yoga ever since. Throughout the years, Sarah has taken numerous workshops and trainings with teachers including Kino MacGregor, Cathy Louise Broda, Glen Butcher, and David Swenson. Most recently, she completed a personal apprenticeship in Hatha yoga with Jovan Tevin, and is continuing her studies in Ashtanga. Due to her background, Sarah’s classes are dynamic, integrative, and empowering, inviting students to challenge themselves on their mat and honor their unique journey.
